Live Language is a friendly language school that offers student-centred English courses to help you progress. You can make your dreams come true in a place where you feel at home.

We accept students from beginner level upwards and help them through their academic career to university preparation courses and university entrance. Our school is located in Charing Cross, a safe and quiet area of the city. We are close to the University of Glasgow and a 10 minute walk from the West End and the city centre. Glasgow is nicknamed "The Friendly City" and is appreciated for its culture, museums, music, nightlife and shopping, but above all for its people. If you travel 45 minutes east, you reach Edinburgh, if you travel 45 minutes west, you reach the Highlands. It is easy to get around Glasgow on foot, by bus, train or underground.

Live Language welcomes students from all over the world. Our class sizes are small, allowing for maximum contact between teachers and students. Our courses are designed to be communicative and interactive, so that you can use the language with confidence in real-life situations. We do not believe in lecture-style lessons.

Students will be asked to choose their 1st and 2nd preference when booking accommodation. If your 1st choice is not available in your preferred zone, you will be offered your 1st choice in the other zone. If your 1st choice is not available in any zone, you will be offered your 2nd choice.
Homestay is a great way to improve your English and learn about Scottish culture.

  • Minimum age: 16
  • Want lunch included?  Tell us and add £5 a day
  • A ‘Welcome Pack’ will tell you about travel and your neighbourhood
  • Weeks runs from Sunday to Sunday, additional nights are available on request
  • We require payment at least 2 weeks before arrival
  • Tell us if you have special dietary needs or requirements and we will do our best to match your requests
