SprachCaffe New York is located in beautiful Battery Park, the southern tip of Manhattan. Surrounded by water, Battery Park offers cool breeze in the summer heat, and unforgettable view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

The school is on the 6th floor of the Whitehall Building, the first skyscraper in Manhattan! World-famous Wall-Street and the Charging Bull are a few steps away from school, as well as breath-talking 9/11 memorial.

Language courses

Course starts every Monday and is for all language levels.

Standard Course

English 16 - 99 years old

A dynamic course which gives our students just the boost they need to become more confident in their language skills. 
Our courses place a lot of emphasis on accuracy and fluency, and our teachers use discussions, debates, games, role plays, as well as authentic learning materials appealing to groups. Classes also revise and build on previously learnt grammar and develop students' vocabulary.

Timetable: two blocks from the following: 09:00 - 10:30, 10:45 - 12:15 or 13:00 - 14:30, 14:45 - 16:15

Lessons:

  • 4 lessons per day
  • 20 lessons per week
  • 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
  • 1 lesson = 45 minutes

English 18 - 99 years old

Whether you are a complete beginner or simply wish to brush up on your English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Chinese or Arabic, a Standard Language Course at any of our Sprachcaffe / Languages PLUS schools around the world is bound to meet your requirements.

This is the perfect compromise between learning the language and enjoying your free time. Four daily lessons guarantee effective learning, while the morning or afternoon remains free for extra-curricular activities.

  • Course duration: minimum 1 week
  • Classes: 4 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, 5 course days per week (15 hours per week)
  • Minimum age in the Adult Program: 18 years old
  • Levels: basic, intermediate, advanced
  • Starting dates: throughout the year

Accommodations

Usually the check-in is one or two days before the start of the course, and check out on the day of graduation. You can change the dates in the form.

In order for you to reach your potential and learn as much as possible in New York, you will need the perfect accommodation where you'll be able to relax and recharge your batteries after each eventful day. We want you to feel completely comfortable during your stay and to have as many opportunities to practise your new English skills beyond the classroom as possible.

In our residence you will be able to mix with other language students who will be equally keen to practice their new English skills and meet new people.
